PRODUCT INFORMATION
CONSISTENT PRESSURE FOR PRECISE ESPRESSO TAMPING
The MHW-3BOMBER Astra Constant Pressure Tamper is designed to make espresso puck preparation more consistent and repeatable. Its integrated spring mechanism provides a defined 30 lb (approx. 13.6 kg) tamping pressure, helping reduce variations caused by manual tamping.
Available in 51mm, 53.35mm and 58.5mm, the Astra Espresso Tamper accommodates different filter basket sizes and is suitable for both home baristas and professional coffee setups.
- 3-SPRING MECHANISM: The integrated spring system supports consistent tamping pressure and helps create a repeatable workflow from shot to shot.
- 30 LB TAMPING PRESSURE: The calibrated mechanism is designed for 30 lb (approx. 13.6 kg) of pressure, helping reduce variations associated with manual tamping.
- SELF-ADJUSTING HEIGHT: The mechanism adapts within its working range to different coffee doses and puck heights without requiring manual height adjustment before every tamp.
- TAMPING FEEDBACK: A noticeable response at the intended operating point helps make tamping more controlled and intuitive.
- EVEN COFFEE BED: The guided tamping mechanism supports level compression of the ground coffee for a more consistent espresso preparation workflow.
- THREE SIZE OPTIONS: Available in 51mm, 53.35mm and 58.5mm to suit different filter basket and portafilter systems.
- DURABLE MATERIALS: Constructed from aluminium alloy and SUS304 stainless steel for stability and durability during regular espresso preparation.
SIZE & COMPATIBILITY
