PRODUCT INFORMATION
The MHW-3BOMBER YU Series Cyclone WDT Tool is an espresso needle distribution tool in a 58 mm Universal configuration, designed for common 58 mm portafilter and espresso setups. It helps distribute coffee grounds more evenly before tamping for consistent puck preparation.
The specialized Cyclone mechanism systematically moves multiple fine needles through the coffee grounds. This helps break up clumps and distribute areas of different density more evenly throughout the basket. More uniform distribution can help reduce the risk of channeling during espresso extraction.

WHY WDT?
Freshly ground espresso can contain small clumps and areas of uneven density. The Weiss Distribution Technique (WDT) is used to break up these clumps and distribute the coffee grounds more evenly throughout the basket before tamping.
The Cyclone system automates the movement of multiple needles through the coffee grounds, making WDT easier to integrate into a fast and repeatable espresso preparation workflow.
