PRODUCT INFORMATION

The MHW-3BOMBER YU Series Impact Tamper is designed for controlled and repeatable espresso puck preparation. Its integrated impact mechanism supports a consistent tamping process while reducing the dependence on varying levels of manually applied pressure.

Available in three precise sizes – 51 mm, 53.35 mm and 58.35 mm – the tamper can be selected to match different portafilter baskets.

• IMPACT TAMPING MECHANISM: The integrated mechanism supports a controlled tamping process and helps compress the ground coffee evenly inside the filter basket.

• CONSISTENT WORKFLOW: Compared with a conventional manual tamper, the tamping process is less dependent on variations in manually applied pressure, helping create a more repeatable espresso preparation routine.

• EVEN COFFEE PUCK: The design supports level compression of the coffee bed, creating a consistent foundation for subsequent espresso extraction.

• THREE PRECISE SIZES: Available in 51 mm, 53.35 mm and 58.35 mm, allowing you to select the appropriate tamper for your filter basket.

• SUS304 STAINLESS STEEL: The tamper base is made from durable SUS304 stainless steel and designed for regular espresso preparation.

• ALUMINUM ALLOY & SILICONE: The construction combines SUS304 stainless steel, aluminum alloy and silicone rubber for solid and comfortable handling.

• APPROX. 450 G WEIGHT: At approximately 450 g, the tamper provides a substantial feel in the hand for controlled operation.

Size Guide

Please select the tamper according to the internal diameter of your filter basket. The 51 mm, 53.35 mm and 58.35 mmmeasurements refer to the diameter of the tamper base. The nominal size of an espresso machine alone does not always guarantee an exact fit.
