PRODUCT INFORMATION
The MHW-3BOMBER YU Series Unibody Bottomless Portafilter combines a 58mm-class bottomless portafilter with an integrated precision filter basket. Its unibody construction integrates the portafilter body and handle into a robust design engineered for precise espresso preparation.
The bottomless design provides a clear view of the espresso extraction, allowing baristas to observe flow and distribution directly. This makes it easier to evaluate puck preparation and refine the espresso workflow.
UNIBODY DESIGN
The integrated construction combines the portafilter body and handle into a stable structure designed for repeated espresso preparation.
The handle incorporates a silicone design for comfortable and secure handling during everyday use.
INTEGRATED PRECISION FILTER BASKET
The integrated filter area features approximately 891 precision filter holes, each measuring approximately 0.28 mm in diameter.
The holes are arranged in concentric circles and designed to promote even water distribution across the extraction area.
The basket features straight sides and a flat bottom, providing a consistent geometry for coffee distribution and puck preparation.
LARGE EXTRACTION AREA
With an inner bottom diameter of approximately 58.5 mm, the basket provides a large extraction area. The outer bottom diameter measures approximately 64 mm.
This geometry is designed to support even extraction across a broad area of the coffee puck.
BOTTOMLESS PORTAFILTER DESIGN
The bottomless portafilter construction provides an unobstructed view of the espresso as it exits the basket. This makes it easier to identify channeling, uneven flow and other issues related to puck preparation.
It is suitable for both experienced home baristas and professional espresso workflows.
